Schedule Change!

As we approach the winter break, we want to inform you of an important adjustment to our school schedule for Tuesday, December 23rd.

To improve transportation efficiency across our district & honor our transportation commitments to both public & private schools in the area, we will implement an early dismissal schedule slightly earlier than in previous years. The dismissal times for Tuesday, December 23rd will be as follows:

  • High School: 10:40 AM
  • Middle School: 11:10 AM
  • Elementary School: 12:00 PM (Noon)

Robotics Opens Their Season!

🚀 Upper Merion Robotics had an awesome weekend!

Our High School Robotics teams competed at their 1st of 3 qualifiers at McCaskey High School in Lancaster, PA This Saturday. The big goal: make it to States in March!

🤖 Failure Management #24483 finished 8th out of 28 teams and made it to the semifinals—an amazing start to the season!

💜 TeaTime #30802, our brand-new all-girls team, rocked their very first qualifier and are excited to take what they learned into Qualifier #2.

📅 Next qualifier: January 31!

On To Hershey!

In early December, our HS DECA members faced off against students from eight local high schools in District Competition. Fourteen Upper Merion students placed in the top three for their category and are advancing to state-level competition in Hershey in 2026. Congratulations Vikings!!

UM Senior Hits The Airwaves!

Congratulations to our very own Bailey Cherry! Bailey is a senior at UMAHS and recently participated in the KYW Newstudies program. She recorded a story on the HS Black Student Union and their mentoring partnership with Caley Elementary. The story will air on KYW (1060AM & 103.9FM) November 30th at 1:24pm! Honors Orchestra!

Congratulations to our HS students who performed in the Montgomery County Honors Orchestra Festival in November:  Cody, Avni, Tina, Eva, Jocelyn, Akshaya, Kevin and Rohan!
