Reset Your Password

Changing Your Default Password

When your student accounts were created, you were assigned default passwords.  For your Google login, which you use to log in to your student email and Google Drive, your default password is your birthdate, in the format YYYYMMDD.  For example, if someone was born on the 4th of July, 1776, their default password would be 17760704.

We recommend that High School students change their password for Google. You are responsible for remembering the password you choose and keeping it secure.

When changing your password (instructions below), consider choosing a passphrase instead of a password.  The best way to create a passphrase is to combine a group of words into a phrase that makes sense to the user and is easily remembered but makes no sense to anyone else. You can use your favorite song lyrics, list several favorite foods, whatever you can think of. Currently, our requirements are that a password must be at least 8 characters, but you have no limit on how long or complex you can make it.
